The second film project from Director Mark S. Meyers and Cinematographer Mike Brown dives into the complex and often divisive subject of the donkey populations living on many islands throughout the Caribbean. On some islands they are a tourism boon, on others an ecological threat.

Filming in brilliant 4K using Canon’s C-200, R5-C, R5 and 5D Mark IV.

Donkeys of the Caribbean (working title) begins filming in early January, 2024. The first phase of filming includes:

Each crew member had one checked bag not to exceed 50 pounds (+/- 35 pounds was film gear) and one carryon bag not to exceed 10 pounds (+/- 5 pounds was cameras). The planes got increasingly smaller as filming progressed.
